The contest is CLOSED for registration.
Terms And Condition
- Your participation in this Competition shall be deemed as you have fully understood and accepted the Rules and Regulations stated herein.
- The Competition is open to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.
- There is no specific theme for the Competition. Each person can submit 6 images of any subject matter. There are no restrictions on when the photos were taken or which brand/model smartphone was used.
- The images can be taken in any parts of the world.
- The images you submit must be in JPG format with minimal compression. Filesize to be between 3MB to 5MB.
- This Competition does not charge any fees or return any submissions and accepts electronic submissions only. Any losses and consequences arising from not submitting entries or passing the review shall be assumed by you.
- You shall not use images belonging to others in your submissions under any circumstances. Images created by image creation software (frequently called 'AI' images) are not allowed in this Competition. All legal liabilities for any disputes arising from the violation of the rules shall be borne by you.
- Processing or editing must be limited to making the image look as close to the original scene as possible, except that conversion to grayscale monochrome is allowed.
- You warrant that you have independent, complete, explicit, and uncontroversial copyright of your submissions and that such submissions do not infringe the personal and property rights upon any third party, including but not limited to the intellectual property and rights of portrait, reputation, and privacy. Your participation in this Contest shall be deemed as you having agreed to this condition. All legal liabilities for any disputes arising from your breach of the warranties shall be borne by you. The Organizer and its partners shall not assume any liability in this regard.
- Submissions shall be made on the official website (https://singaporecolour.org).
- The deadline for submitting entries is at midnight on 30 May 2025 (Singapore time). After the deadline, you will no longer be able to upload, change, or delete your work.
- Prize winners will be selected based on their aesthetic feeling, creativity, and social value. A panel of judges will be invited to determine the winners based on the criteria above, and their decision is final.
- Prizes:
Prize Reward 1st prize $1000 cash plus Harmanto Trophy 2nd prize $800 cash plus Harmanto Trophy 3rd prize $500 cash plus Harmanto Trophy 5 Merit prizes $200 Cash each - You agree to authorize the Organizer to use, with or without modification, your submissions for free for publicity purposes including but not limited to social media, print media, printing, photography exhibitions.
- You agree and acknowledge that you shall provide authentic personal information, including your name, contact number, email address, and correspondence address, for the purposes of contact and award distribution.
- By entering this competition, you are explicitly consenting to the personal details you have supplied, including physical addresses, email addresses, being held, processed and used by the organisers for purposes associated with this Competition.
- Winners shall be informed by the organiser and they have to submit the original softcopy of the image with EXIF information intact. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of the award by the organiser.
